- Board level advisor, award-winning organisational development and culture expert, thought leader, mediator and coach. Birthe is a Managing Director and the Global Head for Behavioral Insight & Culture Change at Deutsche Bank. She joined Deutsche Bank in 2010 and has held various briefs pertaining to employee effectiveness including managing performance, engagement, wellbeing and culture. With a 30-year cross sector track record she has been a consultant to blue-chip organisations and has worked within unionized and highly regulated environments. Bi-lingual in English and German, she started her career as a German diplomat in civil-war torn Yugoslavia and has developed extensive international experience having worked in the US, UK, Western/Eastern Europe, Central Asia and UAE. A member of Deutsche Bank’s core culture team, her focus is on why behaviours matter in creating a psychologically safe, positive and productive working environment. She regularly speaks at conferences and is a former member of the Advisory Board for Durham University Business School.
